So the series of Scrubcasts is now six episodes old. What are the initial opinions - is it worth continuing or should the idea be shelved?

Hellooo..
I just want to say that the voice is sometimes annoying, so if its is possible to change the accent little bit.........sorry to say this but its like that for me.
I know its a hard work and I really appreciate you efforts...

Hey just discovered this place and scrubcasts are awesome! super-effective revision for when you're out and about. Would like to echo previous comments that background music can be distracting if too upbeat and if it has lyrics especially. Would like to say best one was the scrubcast with the gladiator theme in the background, that kind of music is really what makes it easier to concentrate on what you're saying! Thanks

you shouldnt be charged for scrubcasts - they are free - you can download direct from this site infact-a-mundo.

It's a freakin wicked idea, but like the girl on the other post I can only open it with quicktime and that's trying to charge me for downloading it...any ideas how to download them?
mwah.

Hey I LOVE THE SCUBCASTS... they helped me sooo much during my exams, just to be learning while Im driving makes me feel like I am being productive instead of the usual exam-freaking car trips that I'm used to!! :o)

If you absolutely have to change the music, some bach or anything other than beethoven or mozart would be really good!! (I like the music, so I dont see the issue)

I love this website, not only have I found a way to make use of my daily 45 minute commute by listening to 'Scrubcasts' whilst driving, but I now have some idea about chest xrays!! Thanks Scrub Daddy you're a legend. Please do one on glomerular nephritis and some cardiology ones like heart block pretty please!

PS: To all the sad acts complaining about the music or asking for it to be removed...GET A LIFE medics are supposed to enjoy their work and if that means a little light trance whilst learning about the finer points of pneumonia then so be it!

I'm a bit slow at commenting, sorry! (Med student procrastination strikes again??)
I'm a recent graduate from Australia and wanted to say thanks heaps for the first 4 podcasts, which were great help in revising for finals. I had my friends listening as well, and we were a bit worried that if there was a Pancreatitis question in our OSCE we'd all preface our answers with the chords from "Final Countdown"!
Keep up the great work, I am using the newer ones to supplement the gaps in my knowledge... ;-)
